About the Fest

We’re delighted to invite you to come along to our second summer community gathering!

Samadhi Fest is a weekend of fun together with like-minded people. There’s meditation and yoga, and the days fill up with talks, live music, workshops, stalls and games, ending around the campfire.

In Buddhism, community, or sangha, is a cornerstone of practice. The Fest is a chance to meet up in person, perhaps for the first time, or to catch up with old friends, and share in practice, fun and games.

This is a weekend that has been planned by members of our community, for you, to bring us all together.

Stay with us over the weekend to share in the relaxed atmosphere, either camping onsite (Friday to Monday) or finding accommodation nearby (we will suggest some hotels nearby).

We have a packed programme of activities across Saturday and Sunday, including yoga, meditation, talks, film, live music, therapies, crafts and stalls.

Mostly, it’s just a chance to get to relax and have a good time. And why not bring your family and friends!

Everything we know so far

Have another question? Please send us an email and we will answer it here.

Do I have to come for the whole weekend?
Not at all. You are welcome for one day, both days, or the whole thing from Friday to Monday. Plenty of people come for the days only. Let us know which you are thinking of in the form, as it helps us plan.
How much will it cost?
We do not know yet. The 2027 event is bigger than last time, so we are working out pricing for a two-day programme with camping. Register your interest and we will email you as soon as tickets go on sale.
What are the Friday and Monday like?
Friday is for arriving and pitching tents. Last time, Friday evening was dinner together followed by meditation and yoga. Monday morning is for packing down and heading home. Timings for 2027 are to be confirmed.
Can I camp, and what are the facilities?
Yes, tents and campervans are welcome from Friday to Monday. Please arrive Friday evening if you can so we can allocate your space. There is access to water, toilets and an ELSAN, but no electric hookup. Camping is charged separately from your ticket, per pitch per night.
What about hotels?
We will suggest some hotels nearby, and list them here with rates and how to book once confirmed.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, please do. Kids activities for 2027 are to be confirmed, and there is plenty of space to run around. Children remain under your supervision throughout.
I would like to help, how?
Say so in the registration form below. We need volunteers across the weekend. If you would like to run a session or workshop, offer a therapy, bring a stall or play some music, please use the separate application form further down the page. Those offers are reviewed by the organising team.
I am experiencing financial hardship
Samadhi is a registered charity and we do not want cost to keep anyone away. Please email [email protected] and we will see what we can do.
