A Four Day Journey to Reset, Refresh & Recharge with Meditation & Yoga

About the retreat

Join us for a 4-day meditation retreat with yoga in the beautiful countryside of Lincolnshire.

During this retreat, led by Buddhist meditation teacher David Oromith and yoga teacher Manu Oromith, we will take some time out from daily life to reset, refresh, and recharge.

David will share guided meditations and teachings from the Buddhist tradition which help us to unwind, de-stress, and cultivate inner wellbeing and fortitude, so that we not only enjoy our getaway but discover practical tools we can take into daily life to help us maintain our restored wellbeing and vitality.

Manu will complement David’s sessions by sharing practical breathing and asana practices from the yogic traditions, which enable us to deepen our relaxation and enhance our concentration. The soothing and healing yoga sessions also help to improve physical flexibility, strength and resistance.

Great experience ! Highly recommended. I had an amazing 7 Day Silent Vipashyana Meditation Retreat in Wales this August with David teaching and guiding us through meditations and with Manu showing us yoga practices in the mornings to start the day. David gave us very structured and clear teachings over the course of the 7 day retreat, diving deeper each day. Both David and Manu have a very warm and compassionate character and style of teaching; thanks for both of you !

Samadhi Retreat-Bliss This was my first retreat and one of the best experiences of my life! I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable anywhere else in my life previously. It was everything I could hope for, and so much more. I truly believe I met the community that I belong too… the meditations, the teaching, the yoga… were all so perfect and totally accessible to anyone at any level, if you had little or no experience of any of this previously, or if you had lots of experience, the retreat is done so well it’s inclusive of everyone. I highly, highly recommend, you will love it. I can’t wait to attend more with this community and will definitely be back next year for the retreat. 🙏

I arrived at the retreat grumpy, tired, and absolutely adamant I didn't need it. Within 24 hours, it was like my whole body had exhaled, and I recognised how burned out and exhausted I had been. I left the retreat replenished, filled with joy and buoyancy. Everyone I met spoke so positively about David and Manu, and after I spent a bit of time about them... I did too! What lovely humans, and what a way they have of creating a non-judgemental, soothing space. A few days after the retreat, it has had a really positive impact on my home life. I feel calmer, happier, and more focused. I couldn't recommend them more. They should be on NHS prescriptions.

I've been attending some of Samadhi's online study classes for the past couple of years and recently attended my first Samadhi retreat at the beautiful Trigonos retreat centre in Snowdonia. I was feeling quite anxious about attending but Hana was so helpful and reassuring when I sent in a couple of queries prior to the retreat. The retreat was very well organised and well structured, with a good balance of group meditation sessions, yoga, teachings from David and free time to explore the amazing grounds, including a beautiful peaceful lake. I have been meditating for quite a number of years, but not always as consistently as I would like. I really feel like this retreat has 'kick-started' me back into a regular meditation practice. David is really good at explaining Buddhist concepts in a way that makes them relevant to every day life and is a very calming presence. Manu's yoga sessions were perfect - energising you in the morning and then relaxing you before bed in the evening. I really enjoyed them. Finally, the food was absolutely delicious I am slowly trying to move over to a plant based diet and the variety of the vegan meals served to us gave me lots of ideas of things to try out at home. I definitely hope to return to another Samadhi retreat next year and would highly recommend!

I had a truly mind blowing experience at the Samadhi Silent Retreat at Trigonos in North Wales! Everything about the retreat was exceptional. The itinerary had been so thoughtfully designed, with regular breaks between meditation sessions, allowing plenty of time to rest, reflect and integrate the practice. There was also generous free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, making it easy to continue the meditation in a quiet, contemplative way while walking through nature. The two gentle yoga sessions each day were the perfect complement to the meditation. The vegan meals were absolutely incredible, delicious, nourishing, and so clearly prepared with love and care. A special thank you to David. I can’t thank you enough for your wisdom, kindness, patience, and the beautiful, safe space you created for all of us to explore more deeply within ourselves. Your teaching has had a profound impact on me, and I leave feeling more peaceful, present, and inspired than I could have imagined. This retreat exceeded every expectation I had, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their meditation practice or simply reconnect with themselves. It was a truly life changing experience.
