A Dharma Dummies Guide to Dream Yoga
A one-day workshop with Charlie Morley breaking dream yoga into clear steps, for practitioners with a connection to a Buddhist lineage.
A one-day workshop with the Tibetan Buddhist lucid dreaming teacher Charlie Morley, for people who want to get into dream yoga and do not know where to start, or who are confused by the techniques, or who are unsure which parts of these teachings they are allowed to practise. It is aimed at those who have taken refuge or who have a strong connection to a Buddhist lineage. The workshop disentangles dream yoga into a set of clear steps a practitioner can follow in order to have lucid dreams and to practise dharma within them. Drawing on the dream yoga practices of Lochen Dharma Shri and Namgyal Rinpoche among others, and on the advice Charlie has received from his own teachers, Lama Yeshe Rinpoche and Akong Tulku Rinpoche, it builds towards a simple but effective dream yoga practice that can be personalised to the deity you are working with. One part of the closing practice is best done with the Vajrasattva empowerment, and he offers a version of it for anyone who has not received that. As Charlie puts it, for those who have already taken refuge and are already initiated into a yidam practice there is a whole new world of nocturnal dharma that milam naljor can offer.
