Letting Go of the Past: Guilt, Resentment & Acceptance

A half-day retreat with David Oromith on letting go of guilt and resentment, and finding a kinder way to forgive.

In this down-to-earth half-day retreat, we explore simple but radical shifts that help us move from shame, rejection, resentment, and false acceptance that allows harm, into a place where compassion, understanding, patience, and clear boundaries can coexist. We look at how we replace paralysing guilt (“I’m a bad person”) with wise regret (“That was unhelpful”) in ways that lead to repair, healthier self-esteem, and a kinder way forward. Two sessions of practical Buddhist tools, guided reflection and meditation, and space for questions. Recorded at a hybrid event held at Swansea Wellbeing Centre on Saturday 21st March 2026.
