The fourth of six standalone seminars in Ian Baker's Vajra Path series, given over to the tantric doctrines of illusory body (mayakaya) and clear light (prabhasvara), and to how close the two are to one another. Baker works from Tilopa's instruction that all things animate and inanimate are dreamlike through to the mirror practice, in which the practitioner praises and criticises their own reflection until neither displeasure nor exaltation arises, in Gampopa's iteration of it, and reads the doctrines against neuroscience and contemporary practice. Lecture and slides only, then questions on phowa, chod, dark retreat, and in what sense there is no self.
