Learn to Choose Your Thoughts

David Oromith · 32 minutes · recorded November 1, 2026

In the meditation we picture the mind as a vast blue sky and our thoughts as clouds passing through it, and watch each one without getting involved. David explains how this creates distance between our awareness and our thoughts, and spaciousness around each one. Thoughts are like a mosquito looking for somewhere to land, he says, and they get their energy from us, so we have a choice about which ones we starve and which we nurture.
