Spiritual Rebellion: Mindfulness with Attitude

Ondy Willson · 117 minutes · recorded September 28, 2024

Ondy Willson introduces her book and the work behind it: the influences of Buddhism, of her own life, and of twenty years teaching mindfulness in the public and private sectors. She sets out the key ideas of a spiritual practice, and how they can give contemporary life meaning and purpose without requiring a religion. With a reading, a meditation, and questions.

An introductory session to Ondy Willson's work, including a reading from her book of the same title, a meditation, and time for questions. Ondy outlines the influences that have shaped her teaching: her study and practice of Buddhism, her own life experience, and the development of her Wellseeing consultancy, which has delivered mindfulness programmes to the public and private sectors for over twenty years. She takes us through the key concepts of a spiritual practice, and how these contribute to filling the empty spaces in contemporary life, giving it deeper meaning and purpose without necessarily following a religion. Recorded on 28 September 2024. It was followed by the two part workshop, Becoming a Spiritual Rebel.
