- Befriending the Mind Natalia Bojanic · 178 minutes · recorded November 9, 2024
Natalia Bojanic on the attitudes that make mindfulness possible: curiosity, non-striving, letting be and letting go, and generosity, offered as antidotes to boredom, agitation, aversion and doubt. Two thirds experiential, with guided meditations, mindful walking and stretching, journalling and discussion.
- D2S1 - Loving Kindness for Oneself Michael Lobsang Tenpa · 61 minutes · recorded December 11, 2023
Loving kindness proper begins, and the object for the whole day is oneself. After the four questions, Michael Lobsang Tenpa guides tenderness crystallising into the wish, may I be happy and have the causes of happiness, and explains why the Indo-Tibetan wording adds those causes where the Pali sometimes starts with the simpler may I be happy. He also corrects a common error: the object of concentration is the being, not the phrases. Walking meditation pairs one step with one aspiration.
