Working with Difficult Emotions (Talk at Kidwelly Wellbeing)
David’s workshop will take place between 12:30pm and 1:30pm at the Princess Gwenllian Centre.
The Kidwelly Wellbeing event runs from 12:30-5:00pm and hosts well-being therapists, talks, stalls, workshops and information stands.
In this talk as part of Kidwelly Wellbeing, discover a way to gain choice over your emotional experience. Instead of running away or suppressing our difficult emotions, with tips from Buddhism and emotional psychology, we can learn a new and profoundly healing way of working with them and begin to choose how we respond to challenges in life.
This session is a mixture of talk, discussion and guided meditation and is very much down-to-earth, practical and approachable – there’s no dogma and nothing mysterious, it’s an open invitation to ‘come and see’ for ourselves.
