Monthly Coffee and Meditation Meetup

An evening of meditation, coffee, and discussion with friends

During these sessions we explore a different aspect of meditation & Buddhist psychology each month.

Meditation is to the mind what exercise is to the body. It’s about developing exceptional levels of mental health and well-being and experiencing the genuine well-being, happiness and joy that comes from having a wonderfully balanced and healthy mind.

With meditation, we can experience a sense of inner peace and calm even when things go wrong in life.

These classes will provide you with practical experience of meditation and show you a path to overcoming negative states of mind and developing genuine inner peace and happiness.

In his own practise and teachings, David focusses on the core themes of Early Buddhism and emphasises the practices of Shamatha (meditative quiescence), and its union with Vipassana on the Four Applications of Mindfulness and the Four Immeasurables – which presents a direct path leading to the realisation of our deepest nature and the potentials of consciousness, and closely follows how the Buddha himself attained enlightenment. He considers himself to be the fortunate student of many teachers, including his root lama, Lama Alan Wallace.
