Quiet the mind, and wisdom will speak

Buddhist Meditation Retreats, Online Classes & Study Programmes in the UK

Samadhi is a UK Buddhist wellbeing charity offering meditation retreats, live online classes, and Buddhist study programmes for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.

Our retreats run across the UK at beautiful locations in Wales (Gwynedd, Powys, Monmouthshire, Swansea and Carmarthenshire), Devon, Lincolnshire, and London. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed introduction to meditation, a silent retreat, or an immersive seven-day meditation course, we have a programme to suit you.

Alongside our retreats, we run free weekly online meditation classes and live-streamed Buddhist teachings you can join from anywhere in the world. Our study programmes, including The Buddha’s Path, a modular, donation-based course, offer a practical, jargon-free route into Buddhist practice.

As an LGBTQ-led, non-sectarian charity, we’re committed to making Buddhist practice genuinely welcoming and inclusive. We draw on the Tibetan shamatha and vipashyana traditions, guided by the contemplative science lineage of B. Alan Wallace, while remaining open to practitioners of all backgrounds and traditions.

Whether you’re coming to meditation through stress, anxiety, or curiosity, or you’re a seasoned practitioner seeking community and depth, we hope you’ll find a home here.
